Rooted and Radiant
Saturday 26 September 2026 · West Lexham, Norfolk
Retreat days at West Lexham Manor are the most deeply-loved events in the calendar. A Saturday given over to one place, one group and one thoughtfully-paced day, held in an extraordinary setting of walled gardens, ancient woodland and a spring-fed eco-pool. Arrival from 9:30am with tea in the garden. Ninety-minute morning yoga in the beautiful Orangerie, our base for the day. A long, nourishing seasonal lunch at the refectory table, with time to swim in the pool or river and explore the grounds. Restorative yoga and guided meditation in the afternoon. Tea and snacks are provided through the day. Gentle goodbyes at 5:30. The venue does half the work before Ania speaks a word; the day does the rest. Drive in is 35 to 60 minutes from Norwich depending on route; consensus from returning students is that the day is worth it every time. Places are limited to about 20 and dates fill quickly.

A local tip
Castle Acre is a lovely detour on the way in or back: priory ruins, village green, a good pub. If you’re driving from Norwich via the A47, you can come in via Swaffham and out via Castle Acre to make a proper day of it.
What the practice involves
Blossom Yoga retreats are day-long pauses held at West Lexham Manor, one of Norfolk’s most beautiful settings. Each day combines two yoga sessions, meditation, a nourishing lunch, and genuine space to rest. No pushing, no packed schedule, just a careful day built to send you home calmer than you arrived. Retreats run quarterly and fill quickly.
Students typically find it helps with
- A full day of deep rest that genuinely resets the nervous system
- Longer yoga practice than a weekly class allows
- Beautiful venues chosen for their quiet and their hospitality
- Excellent seasonal food, no paleo, no juice fast, just good cooking
- Real silence and real space in your week for once
- Often the beginning of meaningful friendships between participants
